Policy - Committee/Task Force Review And Oversight
At least once a year, the Board of Directors will review the mission, membership, and performance of each Committee/Task Force and will make any changes they deem necessary. Specifically, the Board will look at:
Mission
- Is the Mission clear and concise?
- Does the Mission include measurable objectives?
- Do the Board and Committee/Task Force agree on the Mission?
- Is the Mission a priority within the Long Range Plan?
Membership
- Are there an appropriate numbers of members to complete the Mission?
- Is the membership diverse?
- Are all members active?
- Is the membership turning over so there are opportunities for new members?
- Is the Chair an effective leader?
- Is the Board Advisor fulfilling their role?
Performance
- Is the Committee/Task Force meeting on a regular basis?
- Are they completing assignments from the Board?
- Is the Committee/Task Force operating within budget?
- Are meetings announced in advance per policy?
- Are minutes made available to the Board after each meeting per policy?
- Is the Procedure Manual current and complete?
