Policy - Committee/Task Force Review And Oversight

At least once a year, the Board of Directors will review the mission, membership, and performance of each Committee/Task Force and will make any changes they deem necessary. Specifically, the Board will look at:

Mission

• Is the Mission clear and concise?
• Does the Mission include measurable objectives?
• Do the Board and Committee/Task Force agree on the Mission?
• Is the Mission a priority within the Long Range Plan?

Membership

• Are there an appropriate numbers of members to complete the Mission?
• Is the membership diverse?
• Are all members active?
• Is the membership turning over so there are opportunities for new members?
• Is the Chair an effective leader?
• Is the Board Advisor fulfilling their role?

Performance

• Is the Committee/Task Force meeting on a regular basis?
• Are they completing assignments from the Board?
• Is the Committee/Task Force operating within budget?
• Are meetings announced in advance per policy?
• Are minutes made available to the Board after each meeting per policy?
• Is the Procedure Manual current and complete?
