Notice of Meetings

Notice of all in person or teleconference meetings of the APDT Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and any Committee or Task Force will be posted in the Members-Only section of the APDT Web site at least two weeks prior to the meeting. Said notice will indicate the date, time, and location of the meeting. Emergency meetings of the

Board of Directors and Executive Committee are exempted from this requirement.

APDT members are allowed to attend any in person meeting of the Executive

Committee, Board of Directors, Committee or Task Force, as long as they are not meeting in Executive Session. These groups may meet in Executive Session when discussing issues of a confidential nature such as those regarding human resources, ethics complaints, and other issues as defined by law. At this time, the mechanics and costs involved with teleconference meetings make it prohibitive to open them to the membership. Individuals wishing to attend a meeting as a guest should notify the office at least 7 business days prior to the date of the meeting as special meeting space needs to be reserved when we have guests.

Committee Chairs are responsible for notifying the Office and each member of the Board of any meetings via email, at least two weeks prior to the meeting.

Meeting Agendas

The agenda for any in person or teleconference meetings of the APDT Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and any Committee or Task Force will be posted in the Members-Only section of the APDT Web site at least one week prior to the meeting.

Emergency meetings of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee are exempted from this requirement. The agenda will indicate items scheduled to be discussed at the meeting.

Meeting Minutes

The minutes from any in-person, teleconference, or email meetings of the APDT Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and any Committee or Task Force will be posted in the Members Only section of the APDT Web site once approved by the Board.

The Board will make every effort to ensure meetings are approved and posted with 30 days of the meeting.

Administrative Policies

All Administrative Policies adopted by the Board of Directors will be posted in the Members-Only section of the APDT Web site within 30 days of their adoption.
