Policy - Sales and Promotion Policy of Electronic Shock Products
Trade Shows: No sales or promotion of live demonstration of electronic shock products will be permitted at the trade show (catalogs are allowed provided electronic shock products comprise 10 percent or less of the total number of items in the catalog).
Advertisements: No advertisements of electronic shock products will be accepted. Manufacturers of Electronic Shock Products may advertise as long as they are advertising items other than Electronic Shock Products.
Sponsorship: APDT will not accept any sponsorship from companies that manufacture electronic shock products.
In the promotion of reward based training, the APDT's function is not to control the choice of tools or methodologies, but to educate dog trainers.
