The Central Life Sciences - Comfort Zone 2007 Veterinary Technician of the Year Award

About the Award

The Central Life Sciences - Comfort Zone 2007 Veterinary Technician of the Year Award requires the submittal of a 500 word essay from a working Veterinary Technician.  The essay should highlight the following qualities in the recipient:

  • Technical skill
  • Empathy for animals and humans
  • Business skill

Essay Requirements

  • 500 words (approximately 2 pages)
  • Each page headed with Essay title
  • One essay entry allowed
  • Double spaced
  • Title page-On a separate page exclusive of the essay pages
  • Essay Title, Name, address, telephone number, e-mail address

Methods for Submitting Your Application

APDT would prefer that all award applications be submitted in electronic format. You may send your application for The Central Life Sciences - Comfort Zone 2007 Veterinary Technician of the Year Award by E-mail: awards@apdt.com

Unable to send your application by email? You may send a hard copy application. However, APDT does strongly suggest that if you choose to mail your application that you use a tracking number to ensure safe and timely delivery. Any application received after the deadline date will not be eligible for the award.

Award

The winner will receive up to $1,500 to go toward travel, meals and hotel and free admission to the APDT Educational Conference. The winner will receive recognition and a certificate. The deadline for entry is June 9, 2008
