Dog Trainer Certification

The Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers (CCPDT) administers the national accreditation program for dog trainers.

The CCPDT is an independent organization from the APDT. For information on how to become a certified pet dog trainer (CPDT), or to find one in your area, please visit the CCPDT Web site at www.ccpdt.org.

Each year, the APDT applies to the CCPDT to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) at our Annual Educational Conference. It's a great way for CPDTs to earn credits towards their re-certification!
