    Start 2017 on the right paw with the APDT's National Train Your Dog Month, which celebrates dogs and stresses the importance of canine training among pet professionals as well as modern families with four-legged members.
  • Washington State Trainer Joins APDT Board of Directors (December 12, 2016)
    Lisa R. McCluskey, BS, CPDT-KSA, CBCC-KA, has joined the board of directors of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). An eighth position was recently added to the board and McCluskey was appointed to serve a three-year term that will begin Jan. 1, 2017.
  • 2016 APDT Annual Conference Experienced a 23% Increase in Attendance Rate (October 24, 2016)
    Practical content, various networking opportunities and a prime entertainment destination proved an irresistible combination as 707 professional trainers, speakers, exhibitors and guests converged on Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 12-15, for the Association of Professional Dog Trainers' 23rd Annual Conference.
